Thomas Elliott Herongate Homes

In October 1982 he started working in Estate Agency.
In 1998 he studied 2 years of Building Surveying at South Bank University, London where he was awarded the best student of the year. Then moved his family to West Sussex.
Herongate Homes was founded in 1999.
H is an Associate Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and also a member of RPSA Residential Property Surveyor Association.

Having qualified as an Associate Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors in March 2021, Thomas Elliott, Director of Herongate Homes Ltd, has been able to add the offering of property surveying to his business. Since August 2021, Thomas has completed approximately 200 Building Surveys (RICS level 3), Home Buyers Reports (RICS level 2), Condition Reports (level 1), and Valuation Surveys. Many of his clients are referrals from clients who have recommended his services following their surveys.

Thomas prides himself in being on-hand to prospective house purchasers to give them peace of mind when
purchasing their “forever” home, or their next investment. With 25 years’ experience within the property
development industry, he fully understands the build process, and what faults can be thrown up when a survey
is completed.

Surveys – The process:

The booking process is quick, easy and reports are written within 5 working days of the property survey (ex. Bank holidays, weather, or sickness!!).

Contact us by email ([email protected]) with the full postal address, number of bedrooms and
the approximate purchase price of the property you wish to have a fee quote for. If we need to ask further
questions and recommendations about which report/ service you may need we will contact you. Once it has been
decided on the type of survey you require we email you a fee quote. If you are in agreement, you will be
asked to electronically sign Terms of Business to formally instruct Herongate Homes Ltd.

By instructing Herongate Homes Ltd, we aim to book the survey the same week, dependant of diary commitments
and access to the property. We liaise directly with the Estate Agent for you. Once the timing of the
property visit is confirmed, we invoice out the fee invoice and ask for payment before the visit commences.
